  Most importantly- continue to be as faithful to the LORD as I can possibly be.

  In addition- love more than I have already, forgive more than I have already, learn more than I have already, forgive more than I have already, give more than I have already, learn more than I have already, care more than I have already, travel more than I have already, help more than I have already, be there for a loved one more than I have already, and many more things I hope I will see during the rest of my life.

  The "firmament" is the distinction between what we humans perceive as "waters" verses what we perceive to be above it, what we call "atmosphere" ( tropo, strato, meso, thermo, exosphere).

  WHY don't Americans realize GUNS are destroying their country?

  usa today everyone has a gun, why?.....to protect themselves...from who?

  other folks with guns!.....yes it's in your laws...but they were written when the british ruled you.

  one school gun killing every week does not happen anywhere else in the world....maybe you need more guns to protect your kids.....one in the lunchbox.....does anyone else see this.

  As has already been pointed out on hundreds of threads like this on JWD, there are 4 good reasons US Citizens own and carry guns:

  1- Hunting

  2- Sport/target shooting

  3- Self defense

  4- Protection from thuggery by our government, up to and including armed revolution. Here's some thugs in action, for example:

  The day will come when we will be glad we have the second amendment, and exercised our right to keep and bear arms.

  Ugly looks with big boobs and blonde hair? NO

  Physically beautiful and toned with big boobs and blonde hair, but extremely ill-tempered, materialistic, pushy, etc? NO

  BA- It's all about balance- but most important is the woman of the heart, the one it takes time to get to know. Lots of pretty faces/bodies, very, very few beautiful hearts.

  It is obvious that you feel for your fellow man.

  It is also obvious that certain so-called "Christian" denominations really prove by their actions that they are controlled by Satan, not Christ.

  Following Christ is based upon an individual's LOVE for what CHRIST, not men who claim to represent Him, taught/teach.

  Following Christ requires sincerity, faith, dedication, and most of all, love.

  Many have been misled- but their "gut" troubles them.

  They know that they have been misled, they search ealsewhere, when the answer was there all along.

  The answer is- put faith in Christ (not men, never men).

  It takes time, effort, perseverance.

  BA- There is nothing greater.

  I suggest creationists go to their local science museum and become educated on the theory behind evolution so they can make an intelligent rebuttal of it

  Obviously, you haven't been around long enough, nor have you truly reasoned on the "evidence".

  From back in the day, when this board really was a discussion board talking about serious matters (geez I sound like a crabby old man):

  I can only say that we all must look at ourselves through the lens with which we view others.

  It is a reminder for all of us to be careful lest we become that which we find abhorrent.

  Or, just as likely in my experience, that we realize that which we abhor is what we are.

  BA- Time enough to pull the rafter from our own eye, methinks.

  nasty email to my coworker ala 'watchtower comments'

  hey everyone,.

  i've allowed this guy at work to make my life miserable for the past two years.... he is totally the opposite of a team player; and he's always sending emails to our boss trying to show off.

  well, today i replied to one of his latest emails and included everyone in the reply but i replied to him ala 'watchtower comments' ... lol.
